Undoubtedly, manifesting your desires can be a powerful tool to create change in your life. But if you’re like most people, you might not know how to start or what steps to take.

Today, I’m going to show you five easy steps to get started with manifesting on paper. So whether you want to attract more money, better health, or love into your life, these simple steps can help make it happen!

What is Manifesting?

Manifesting is the ability to make your thoughts a reality. It’s often used in reference to personal growth or manifestation as the creation of something. The act of manifesting requires having a clear understanding of what you want to achieve and then taking action steps towards achieving it.

For example, if your goal is to manifest a new job, you might update your resume and start networking with people in your desired field. The key to manifesting is focus and intention. Once you have a clear vision of what you want to manifest, put your energy and attention towards making it a reality. The more effort you put into manifesting your goal, the more likely it is to become a reality.

Law of attraction

The term “manifesting” is often used in reference to the law of attraction, which is the belief that by focusing on positive or negative thoughts, people can bring about positive or negative results.

For example, someone who is manifesting abundance may believe that they will achieve their goals because they think and feel positive about doing so. On the other hand, someone manifesting poverty may think and feel negatively about money, believing that they will never have enough.

The law of attraction is not always a straightforward process, however. It often takes time and effort to manifest something, especially if it is something large or complex. And even when manifesting does occur, it is not always clear what role the law of attraction played in the outcome. Manifesting is a nuanced and often misunderstood concept, but at its core, it is simply the belief that our thoughts and feelings can influence our reality.

Why should we manifest on paper?

It’s one thing to believe and manifest in your head, but writing it down is often a powerful tool that has helped me. There’s a case known as the “generation effect.” To simplify, the generation effect is a phenomenon that helps you remember information better through writing things down versus reading this information or hearing it.

This is why writing notes down as you follow along in class can help you better remember the content. In our case, manifesting on paper can help you keep the goals in your mind. Now obviously we want to manifest the good things you want, but taking necessary action is required.

We can’t sit there hoping a large sum of money is magically going to fall into our laps by watching TV. Your goal is going to require the belief that it’s possible WITH the necessary actions to get there.

How I manifest on paper

Now that we have an understanding of what manifesting is and the benefits of manifesting on paper, let’s take a look at how to put this into action.

1. Grab a paper and pen

You can use one sheet of paper or better yet, keep a manifestation journal. A journal can help you write out your affirmations and gratitude throughout the journey. Having multiple pages can help you look back at past notes and can show the progress you’ve made.

2. Figure out your goal(s)

It’s important to get really specific with your goals. For example, if your goal is to make a bunch of money, then choose a specific dollar amount to aim for. If your goal is broad like “I want to be successful,” then define your success and list out what it is you want.

When you write these things down, you’ll have them in your subconscious mind. This is the most important part of the process since this is what we want to manifest.

Over time, your goals can change as you pass them or as you see you want different things in life. Take some time to really figure out what you want and prioritize them.

3. What steps do you need to take?

Now that you know what it is you want, you need to figure out how to get there. Obviously, you’re not gonna know everything, but to some degree, we should know some steps we can take when starting out.

For example, when starting your fitness journey you might not know how to lift weights or how to eat healthily. But you can list out the steps of “learn how to work out” or “learn how to diet.”

Be honest with yourself and try not to get overwhelmed in the process. Things will take time and it takes consistency to achieve your goals.

4. Write down things you’re grateful for

I like to write down a few things that I’m grateful for. These things can be literally anything from your family, the clothes on your back, your home, or even the freedom to go outside and breathe.

Writing down things you are grateful for each day is a great way to focus on the positive aspects of your life and work towards your dream life. It is a key to happiness and can help you see how far you have come.

It can also be a great way of self-reflection to know what you are grateful for in your life. By concentrating on the good, we bring more positivity into our lives. This is where the law of attraction can come into play.

5. Take action and track your progress

Now that you know what you want, the steps to take, and some gratitude, it’s time to take action. As mentioned before, you can’t sit there and pray for things to fall into your lap. You need to go out there and do the work.

Along the way, you’ll make tons of mistakes and have to learn many lessons, but you’ll continue to improve. It helps to write down things you’ve struggled with that day or what you’ve learned. Not every day will be the most amazing day ever. But even on your worst days, you can look back at your journal to see how far you’ve come.

Some principles to apply

Now that you know how to manifest on paper, let’s go over some things to keep in mind when doing this.

Be honest with yourself

It’s important, to be honest with yourself when making goals and taking steps to get there. Having a goal of making 1 billion dollars by tomorrow isn’t realistic. This is clearly an extreme situation.

Be patient

Similar to being honest with yourself, being patient is something that can get you the life you want. Things take time and if we can allow ourselves the time to grow and have the patience, then we’re much better off.

Simplify

Keep the journal simple. You don’t need some crazy expensive journal and a 3,000-word essay to do this. As long as you have a blank page with simple points you understand, then you’re good to go. Your job is to focus on the goals and tasks while lightly working on the journal. Don’t let this be something that makes you procrastinate. This is not an excuse to get your work done!
